Peter Rabbit and Friends at 16 New Street
Friday 24 February and Saturday 25 February 2017, 10am till 4pm
To commemorate World Book Day, which is celebrating its 20th anniversary this week, the Trust has invited Peter Rabbit, Alice in Wonderland and Friends to the Georgian House for a special two-day literary event aimed at children of all ages.
Visitors will be enthralled to discover a different character hidden behind every door, the Queen of Hearts in the Georgian Kitchen, the Mad Hatter in the Dining Room and a certain tiger upstairs who has crept into the Georgian House to have tea!
Activities include storytelling throughout the house on both days, a small exhibition about the life and work of some of our best known childrenâs authors, childrenâs craft activities, dressing up, a themed quiz and a treasure hunt.
Come dressed as your favourite character.
