Jersey Online Directory
Jersey Online Directory (JOD) was launched as an online “one stop shop” for Islanders to find out about help, support and activities groups, services, and organisations available for them locally. It is searchable in many different ways. As the content is all local, coupled with a simple layout and design, the JOD aims to be a swift way of finding information for islanders without UK related info creeping in which could be confusing or irrelevant. JOD can be found at www.jod.je The JOD is funded by the States of Jersey and is administered and overseen by the Citizens Advice Bureau.
Free Software for Charities
Member charities of the AJC can obtain free software from tt-exchange here https://www.tt-exchange.org/ You will need to supply your AJC membership number to obtain free software and you will have to pay a small admin fee.
Community Jobs Fund
The Community Jobs Fund is a Back to Work initiative which funds the wages of long term jobseekers who are employed by a charity or organisation into roles that provide an additional benefit to the community.
· Is open to all local employers
· Creates new roles that provide an ‘additional community benefit’
· Is fully funded by Back to Work, for up to 35 hours per week and for up to six months
· Aims to bring jobseekers closer to full-time, sustainable employment by increasing their skills and work experience
