Join Jersey Trees for Life as we Run for the Trees on Sunday 13 October at Val de la Mare, in partnership with Rock N Road and event sponsors, Evelyn Partners. Participants can take their pick of either a 11 km or 3 km run around the arboretum and reservoir. The two winners get their name on a tree (label) for the next year as well as receiving a medal crafted from wood. There's also a prize for top fundraiser. Most importantly, Run for the Trees is an opportunity for you to contribute to the community and do something healthy in scenic surroundings. Plus of course it should be a lot of fun. Sign-in on the day opens at 8.45am with start times as follow: 9.30am - 11 km 9.35am - 3 km Runners doing the 11 km course will need to wear trail shoes. We hope to see Run for the Trees become part of the annual calendar and encourage anyone interested to get involved and spread the word.
