Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI)

The Jersey branch of the RNLI was established in 1884. There are over 100 active RNLI volunteers in Jersey, including lifeboat crew, fundraisers and the management team. The fundraising section of the branch is known as the Guild, the Guild’s primary objective is to raise funds to finance our boats and equipment for the saving of lives at sea.
Volunteer Commitment
Members are expected to help with at least three functions during a calendar year in addition to helping in the RNLI Shop on the Albert Quay on an occasional basis and to attend two Committee meetings per year as well as the Annual General Meeting.
