Chairperson-
We are currently seeking a volunteer to fill the vacancy of Chairperson. They would ideally have some experience of organising or running a small charity, or may have networking and media experience. They work with the committee in reaching joint decisions for the running of the group. Commitment level variable but approximately an average of 1-2 hours per week.
Honorary Secretary-
This volunteer would ideally have experience of general administration duties, including arranging committee meetings, recording minutes and organising agendas, plus dealing with annual returns. Commitment level variable but approximately an average of 1-2 hours per week. Good level of organisation desirable with basic competence in Microsoft Word and Excel and/or similar.
Committee members-
These volunteers meet periodically and help the group function as a result of decisions taken at such meetings. They may bring a wide variety of skills; administrative, technical, secretarial, financial, marketing, networking etc. Together the committee members share the workload. Approximate time commitment 2 hours/week (depending upon group activity).
