Overview:
Every Child Our Future is seeking a friendly and reliable Volunteer Bus Driver to help transport children from schools to the library for our after school reading for pleasure program, Book Buddies. This vital role will help us reach more children to inspire a love of reading, while ensuring they have a safe and enjoyable journey to the Jersey Library.

Key Responsibilities:
? Collect the bus from a designated location in the West of the island.
? Safely transport children from their schools to the library by 3 PM for the reading
program.
? Ensure the bus is returned in the same condition.
? Foster a friendly and positive environment for children during the journey.
? Adhere to all relevant road safety laws and regulations.

Requirements:
? A clean driving license (essential).
? An enhanced DBS check (we can help you with this).
? Punctuality and reliability.
? A positive attitude and enjoyment of working with children.
? Good communication skills and the ability to maintain a calm and safe environment.
? Flexibility, with hours to be arranged and confirmed in advance.
