Overview:
Every Child Our Future is looking for organised and dedicated volunteers to help sort donated and new books at our storage room in the Education Department. Your work will ensure that books from generous public and corporate donations are ready to be distributed to schools and children through our programmes and at community events, helping to inspire a lifelong love of reading.
Key Responsibilities:
? Sort donated and new books by category, condition, and age suitability.
? Check the quality of donated books, ensuring they are clean and appropriate for use.
? Help prepare books for distribution to schools and children at community events.
? Organise storage spaces to keep books accessible and ready for upcoming events.
? Assist during specific book donation events, if required.
Requirements:
? Attention to detail and good organisational skills.
? Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
? A passion for books and literacy.
? Flexibility to volunteer hours agreed in advance and for specific events.
